Amber didn't glance up. Obviously she was talking about her, but what was she supposed to say? Anything could be taken the wrong way, and she could manage to find herself dead real fast. She picked her head up a little, glancing at the one who had been so rude talking about her, then stared absently at the desk. "...I'm not afraid of you...more of what you can do. I'd just rather not find myself dead too soon..." Hopefully this class wasn't too long. She was ready to be out of there; to try to find some place on her own. Just for a little while. Just long enough to try to keep herself in check; to keep her from going into a panic. It was bad enough she would have to sit through the year as the only human, but being talked about like that because she was human...she put her head back on the table. Sneaking a nap in sounded like a better idea now.
