"Very good." Mustang says calmly, looking past the boy to the body. If one were to look closely they would be able to tell that he was remembering something from his past, which he really wished he wasn't. But then his eyes flick up to Wilhelm, and he nods towards the body. The man nods in return, face solumn, and he walks over and kneels beside the body and begins to draw a circle on the ground. A moment later the earth around the dead chimera rises, turning into a stone coffin, which he then lifts and carries off. "Now, you may either stay and see how well Mr. Kain fairs, or retire to the mess hall, I leave that up to you, but either way you need to move out of the way."
Issac noticed the look in Mustang's eye, and knew what he had remembered. His father had once told him of an incident with a man called the Sewing Life Alchemist, who transmuted his daughter and dog into a chimera. That would have to have been hard on anyone, especially if you'd known the man and the girl. "Kain, are you ready?" Issac looked up at the man's voice. Kross was out of the way, but besides that he didn't know, he wasn't sure if the other alchemist was still around to watch or if he'd moved on. He was too focused on the cage. A moment later the latch was moved aside, and the door pulled back.
What slowly emerged from the cage was, disturbing, to say the least. There were two heads, the one on the right had one long, spiraling horn and the other had had two. It walked out on all fours, the front legs were really wings, which looked rather tattered, the back legs were clawed, and there were two tails which began as one but split shortly below where the backbone would normally end. If this thing had ever been human one couldn't tell, especially when the right head focused in on Issac and opened it's mouth, emitting a red glow which then turned to flames that jet out towards him like a flamethrower.
Issac reacted quickly. Reaching into his satchel he removes a card and drops to the ground, slamming it doen before him along with both hands. A second later the ground rises up, creating a wall and shielding him from the flames. The stone glows red for a moment, then there is a screech, and looking up he can see the chimera perched atop the wall. Rolling to the side he avoids more flames, then leaps up, cane in hand like a sword. The chimera leaps towards him and begins breathing flames as it flies towards him. Raising his left arm he shields his face from the fire, causing his coat to butn away, as well as his glove, revealing his automail arm. When the chimera gets close he grabs the right head by the mouth, closing it before it can stop breathing fire.
A moment later, the head explodes in a cloud of flames. Issac then transmute the tip of his cane into a diamond tip and stabs it through the back of the other head's mouth, silencing it as it pierces his brain and moves through the skull. Letting go, and yanking back his cane while returning it to normal, the chimera falls to the ground and he steps back, face solumn. "Good job Kain, good reaction time, however you should have told us about the automail before hand." Mustang says, and goes on to speak, but Issac doesn't hear him. Issac knees down and draws a circle on the ground with his automail finger, then transmutes a coffin for it, just as Wilhielm had done.
