"Sorry to bother you, but I thought I would let you know that both of those boys have passed. Within the hour I'll be presenting them with their pocketwatches," Mustang says, a little master of factly. "I know you've been given the last report about the mysterious incidents around the late State Alchemist, and I was hoping you might have an idea as to wether or not those two would be fitting for a position in the new group I've been forming. As you know, we've lost a few more members to more urgent maters elsewhere, and I believe those two may be rather useful...although, there is the mater of the one, Issac Kain...he has preformed a human transmutation..."

Mustang speaks in slightly hushed tones on these subjects. Most of the officers in the military know about the incident, but not much of the details surrounding it, and they don't need to know that there is another foolish alchmist among them. Although he doesn't fully understand it himself, he knows that Tali has gone through a traumatic alchemy event, and believes she would be a good judge for the boys.

On the opposite side of Central, in a room filled with nothing but shelves packed high with boxes containing files on closed cases and the like, a man searching through the tags on the sides of the boxes for something in particular. His name is Francis, and while he is only a low ranking officer, no alchemist himself, he knows alot more than it seems he should. He is a member of the search team Mustang has put together, one of the ones sent on an assignment away from Central.

The only problem here is that Francis died a week ago. His body was buried three days ago in his home town in the south, so the question is, who or what is this? Unfortunately, another officer wanders into the same room and discovers this man. At first hs thinks nothing of it, but after a few minutes he remembers the face, and having attended the funeral. Moving closer he draws his gun, but when he turns a corner the man is gone. Shaking his head he begins to replace his gun, but then a blade appears through his chest, and he fires three shots, which ring loudly through Central.
