In the quiet morening of Frances, Balphazar awoke and looked out his glassless window to the shining lake of Belowe. "Mhuthr has a treat for us." he said an strentched his arms out and moaned. Elizabeth was sleeping in her bed in the other room when she awoke slowly to see Balphazar watching her.
"Hm? What's wrong?" she asked with one eye open and he just closed his eyes and sighed.
"It's not of concern, but a feeling of judgment seems to be looming the air." he says and Elizabeth just gave him a sorrowful look. Balphazar always had bad feelings about things, and most the time they turned out as he expected. When he felt the looming of judgment, it would only lead to something worse than death.
"When is it supposed to happen?" she asked. She did not have the accent of Elders', which Balphazar obtained from living in Frances his life, but she spoke a normal accent, much like the locals to cities.
"Ah, but the unkown is too familiar with me. Perhaps another twilight will aloow ease of mind?" he asked and smiled. Elizabeth knew what he was saying most of the time, and this was no exception, but he had only gotten the grammer and sentence's correct recently. He usually spoke the normal language, but he took a liking to the Elders' language and decided to experience it for himself.
"Well, maybe we should just go out for some food? I'm hungry." she said and Balphazar giggled a little.
"Quite. Shall we?" he asked and got up and offered her his hand.
