Teran felt the bark of the evergreen tree dig into his back, as he forced himself into it. He thought about climbing the tree would get him out of sight, but then he remembered that according to Tsuki, all wolves climb trees. "Sh-she murdered someone...there is no coming back from death!" he moaned, on the verge of sobbing away. He knew about death, he could explain the concept. He was even perfectly fine with it when it came to hunting, he had even killed a few small animals himself for food. But another wolf? To kill your own kind? He knew there was a supposed 'war', and that killing was a part of it, but he had never seen it first hand. And to see it done by Tsuki...the wolf he had always tried to impress, that is what made him crack. He glanced at Amaya before closing his eyes. He thought by her face she looked ashamed of him, which made the pit in his stomach even worse, as he slumped down into the snow, wishing he could burry himself in it.
