Kcolth jumped back as the man fell onto the table sending much of the food flying. For a moment he thought the man dead, until he lifted his head and smiled. He looked over and saw the pure rage growing in Soarina's eyes. Kcolth quickly drew a long dagger from his boot and brought it to the mans neck. He was between the man and the princess, not only to protect the princess but to protect the man. If he didn't have a good explanation for falling then Soarina would kill him. He looked at Soarina fast to make sure she was uninjured, she was. He looked back at the man. "You are in the presence of Princess Soarina. I am Kcolth, royal knight and bodyguard of the princess. Now, who are you and what caused you to fall?" He looked the man over and guessed he wasn't an assassin. Unless of course he was a very bad assassin, so he kept the knife to the mans neck just in case. He turned and looked at Soarina. She was still very upset and most likely considering blasting the man. Kcolth waved his hand to show that he had it all under control. But then he noticed something. "Lady Soarina, you have a little mash potato right there," he said as he pointed to her face. He smiled a little but quickly turned back to the man. The last thing he wanted was to get blasted. Him or this man.
