A thick, ominous fog was creeping along the forested floor; warmth coming the ground, blending with the cool air. The woods were silent, death could have been heard coming. But the draw of Takashi's sword was silent.

Drawing the sword in a rapid motion, he stepped out from be hind the darkened and enshrouded treeline, directing the tip of his nearly six foot long blade towards the one devouring the body of a Yōkai. Looking down the back of the glimmering sword, he kept an eye on the supposed young woman. He had seen many things in his life time; tengu, kappa, hanyou. But they weren't his concern, what he wanted was to find the man or yokai that killed his father.
