Before Ichiro could completely leave the room and the group of Captains disperse all hell broke loose. Outside came a crashing sound like a bomb was set off just outside the Squad One Barracks. Turning back to the captains as the shock wave shook the room they were in he closed his eyes and let lose a wave of Reiatsu that passed through them all and returned moments later, allowing him to pinpoint the source of the orders just as a second shock wave hit the Barracks.

He opened his eyes and gazed at them immediately changed his orders. “Belay those commands, all Captains, report to Sōkyoku Hill immediately, Shikai Release is authorized.” He barked before blowing the doors off their hinges with a blast of Reiatsu from his palm and Flash stepping away ahead.

Just above the scaffolding used for executions a strange ripple in the sky appeared, every few moments pulsating with power that caused a massive shock wave to spread throughout the Seireitei, knocking shingles off of buildings and many people to the ground. Slowly a deep red smoke began to seep form a solid crack in the atmosphere as the pulses began to increase in power and recurrence rate. Throughout Seireitei the gong that signaled emergency rang out and every Barracks began pouring out Shinigami.
