Jesse hadn't been paying much attention to Chris until he spoke to her. She let her cold amber eyes fall to him as he spoke to her. It wasn't that she had anything against him, he hadn't done much wrong. The bad-mouthing didn't at all bother her; it was actually much nicer to pick a fight with someone who wasn't powerful enough to give her a big problem. He seemed to be taking his time selecting his words. She couldn't help but wonder if he was realizing that despite his size, age, and gender, she was the one who held the most power in the situation. But it kind of annoyed her, the sly little smirk on his lips, the way he looked at her as if he was certain they'd develop some sort of feelings for each other. As he moved the strand of hair from her face, her amber eyes darkened in a look of almost shock, though it was far from it. The brunette stood straight as he filed out of the room with Viva and the other victims who dared to get up. "Hey R," she called as she stalked after thr group. "I hope you won't be mad when one of our victims turns out dead in the morning." It was meant to be heard throughout the group. It was first of all a warning for them to be careful around her. But she also intended to get back at Chris for his sly behaviour; the thing that really annoyed her, however, was the fact that she almost liked it.
