"I'm from Kansas City," said Cole. "United States." He didn't know if Roman knew where Kansas City was. Based on his heavy accent, he wasn't sure how long Roman had been in the United States, so he explained better to make sure. He sighed as he turned to the front of the class, when the teacher began to lecture about starting the new school year, and what they were going to learn. The first day was always the easiest, though Cole was new here, so he didn't know how this school worked compared to his old public school. So far though, this class was pretty similar to back home, except everyone in the class had some weird power.

Thinking about the powers, he looked over to Roman. "So, what's your power?" he asked. He wasn't sure if that was a weird question to ask, but Cole really liked to find out what these people could do. His power seemed normal to him, but hearing others just amazed him. He though He and Laurel were the only ones that could do anything out of the ordinary, until Laurel found out about the school.
