Summer tossed her Abercrombie and Fitch bag over her shoulder, waving bye to her friends. She turned around and smacked into Zach, but not knowing who she bumped into yet.
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry!" She said, but then she looked up and saw Zack. He looked slightly troubled. "What's wrong?" She asked, her grey eyes gleaming with slight worry in them.

Whenever she saw one of the people she went out that night went, the haunting image of what she had become was brought up. She could forget about it when she was with her normal, regular friends. She had changed so much that night. Everything was different. She felt that somewhere deep inside her was the same old Summer, and not with this strange "thing" happening to her. She could only explain it to the people that went out with her that night. No one else would understand her. They would call her crazy.

Summer nodded her head before he even said anything. "We need to talk, don't we?" She said, pulling her bag up further on her shoulder and looking into his eyes deeply, concerned and slightly paranoid.
