Laurel looked up at the clock and right after she noticed it was close to the time to get out, the bell rang and everyone began to jump out of their chairs and rush out of the class. Laurel stood up and looke down at Emiri. "I'll see you later," she said smiling. She was glad she was already making new friends for the new year of school. She was suprised at how easily she made friends here. Back in public school, she was never good at making friends. There were so many mean girls back there, and she was never good with those girls. Most of the girls just got out of the way when they passed by or made a rude comment, but Laurel had a loud mouth and didn't take any of that from them. Sometimes she was compared to them, but Laurel knew she was nothing like them. She wasn't rude to people who didn't do anything to harm her emotionally or physically. But when they gave her a reason, she could be the meanest person you had ever met.

Laurel already knew what her next hour was by memory. It was a PE class. Laurel sighed as she walked down the halls of the school and outside the school. The building for gym was across the garden, and they usually did their activities outside when there was nice weather. She opened the large doors to the building and walked in. The class so far was empty of people completely. She walked over to the benches across the back wall and waited for others to arrive.

Cole layed his head on the desk as he listened to the teacher ramble on about the things that he had no care for. He had made friends with Roman, though he had no idea what he meant when he said his power. He had been sleeping through the class uninterrupted for almost the whole second half of the class until the loud bell rang and he walked out of the room to his next class. It was P.E. He liked any PE classes back home and guessed that the classes weren't much different at a private school. If you called this school that. Maybe a special school, or a gifted school, whatever. He said goodbye to Roman and then walked outside and to the building in the back of the grounds behind the building. He finally reached the building that it told him to go to.

Cole walked in and looked around. The only person in there was Laurel. "You're kidding me," he said. "You?" He made a jokingly disgusted face at her and sat next to her to wait for the other students to come.

"Don't expect me to speak to you here, just because you're my brother," said Laurel. "I know you're alone here, but I can't have you weighting me down."

"Don't worry Laurel, I'll have no problem leaving you alone." Cole leaned over and put his head on his hands watching the door open as students filled in.
