Nevertheless, he decided he could live with it. It wasn't like relations ingrained in them from years of training would suddenly go away. As long as the Templar didn't harm him or Asmara, then he was content. He raised an eyebrow as she offered to take first watch. He smiled a little, not knowing of the trade-offs of being a Grey Warden. She was too kind.

"No, you've been on the run for weeks. You should be the run resting," he told her, shaking his head, "I may not be a healing mage, but even I know that everyone, even Grey Wardens, need some sleep. I'll keep watch. I insist. It's a long journey to Lothering."

He frowned a little. If only he bothered to learn the sleep spell. If she refused, then all he'd have to do is silently cast it.
