"I'm not taking you to see him, girl," Sandra said, her hoarse, grating voice cutting through the atmosphere of Weezy's room. "I'm taking you there to have fun. Besides, everyone else is coming! Come on, you know you want ta. Pleaaaaase, Weez. For meee?" Sandra batted her eyelashes as she sugar-coated her voice, something quite unbecoming for a tomboyish woman like her. Weezy could only squint in mild annoyance as she put her lip gloss on. At least her mascara was dry now. Hurriedly taking the rest of her makeup and shoving them in her purse, she got up, all dressed to the nines with a pair of her favorite Louboutins, her golden hair in lovely loose curls that framed her doll-like face, and she turned off all her appliances and lights before she strutted on ahead of her best friend, who had to stiffly catch up with her in her four-inchers.
She pulled up her red Chevy Corvette convertible just out front. From where they were parked, they heard the booming music inside, and her bones ached for a dance and a drink. At first, her eyes glazed over as she admired his super-expensive home yet again. All of the details, the surroundings, the view! She just couldn't believe her eyes. This was definitely the kind of home she would've wanted to have, if it weren't for her non-deficit spending habits. With a smile, she looked at Sandra and giggled. "Okay, so this would be the equivalent of heaven," she said amusedly, just letting the atmosphere soak in. There was that aching feeling, though, that told her to stay away. "Oh, God, why do I feel like I wanna puke all over his topiaries?"
"Go do that later when you're wasted! Let's go, now!" Sandra said, getting out of the car and pulling her out as well. Weezy was helpless to Sandra; she just had to escape, but she couldn't.
Inside was a wonderland. Oh, God, Weezy thought to herself as she surveyed the surroundings. The music's loud, the drinks a-plenty, furniture to die for. She closed her eyes and repeated to herself, this is just a nightmare, this is just a nightmare, I'll wake up...
"Hanboth!" Sandra yelled to Paula, spotting her over by the pool. "Look who I've forcibly dragged along here!"
"Augh, shut up!"
On the other hand, JD was still on his way to the party. The traffic jam at a main road would just not move and JD set his head on the steering wheel in annoyance. This just was not happening. Somehow, he wished that he would make it in time for the party. Or if Jordan was already there. Well, she would. This was going to be a long night of driving. Or so he thought. Up ahead, he saw that the traffic was loosening as there had been an accident earlier on. With a sigh of relief, he drove on as the road was clearing up. Oh, man, he thought. Still got a long way to go. With a smirk, he just drove on ahead, awaiting the time he'd be able to see all of his other friends over at the party. This was going to be really wild. He just knew it. To start off, he brought four bottles of Jack Daniel's. This was going to be a wild one tonight. As soon as he got there, he immediately parked his car out front, got the bottles and locked the car as quickly as he could and made it inside, and to his relief, the party was just about to start. He set the bottles over at the drinks table with a casual smile as he poured himself a gin and tonic for the moment before he proceeded to hit on a random red-head across the room, and before you know it he's dancing with her to the thumping tunes that filled the immaculate house. With a smile, he made it over to the host with a wild "Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeegggg!", lowering his hat over his head before it fell off his head. "Fuckin' sweet party you got here."
