"Here" she lifted her head, attention drawn away from the menu. Another human had spoken to her.. it was the man seated at the same table. She gently put down the menu and let her fingers grasp onto the offered jacket's collar. "Thankyou.." she said giving him a small smile in return to his own smile. Her smile was warm though she was cold and had gone through a lifechanging ordeal that night. The mud on her dress had dried up and was falling off bit by bit onto the floor she noticed. I should clean that up myself later..

She smoothly slipped into the jacket and held tight onto the edges amused. My first time wearing human clothes.. She smiled at that just when the waitress from earlier returned. "How sweet" she heard the girl say. Valoel smiled again as she was surrounded by the two humans who had offered her shelter and warmth. When the waitress walked away, she looked down onto the table analysing the item she had left for the male. It gave off a very strange scent.. strong one at that. "Beer" she said. She may not have spoken with humans till now but that didn't stop her from observation back in the day. She shifted her eyes off the bottle realising she was not yet made aware of the humans names.
She turned to the man next to her with a slight tilt of the head. "Sir.. may I ask your name?" she asked politely. Each syllable in every word seemed disconnected from the rest.
