It was difficult keeping track of targets whilst staying hidden within the crowds. They constantly moved, and he was forced to ebb and flow with them. This reconnaissance was turning out to be an utter mess, he should've been much more discreet. On the upside, events were proceeding faster than expected. He thought he'd be spending months tracking down a likely suspect, but he wandered into this club and had a possible in minutes.

Suddenly he lost sight of the girl, and he made his way to the edge of the crowd, searching for her. When she reappeared, she was striding towards him. He was instantly on guard, and the air of quiet harmlessness around him melted away into one of immense violence barely held in check. His left hand balled into a fist as she approached.

 "May we talk? It seems we may have a small misunderstanding. To show you that there will be no trouble we can talk with people around. I am sure neither of us will do anything when there are innocents around." he heard her say, and a look of mild surprise crossed his face. He had not been expecting this. The possibility had not even crossed his mind. He was completely unsure how to respond. He did not like being wrong footed like this. It shifted the balance of control.

Seeing her breeze past to an empty booth, he hung back a few moments, checking if anyone was watching. He turned back towards her, muttered "I am the hammer...", then followed. It wasn't like he had anything to lose from it, he told himself as he took a seat opposite her.

"You are lucky I was not tutored by Karamazov.", he growled, his voice so quiet as to be audible only to her, "Or I'd have shot you right then and there. But I agree that there is no need to get innocents involved. Now what the hell do you want? This must be the first time in a decade your kind and my kind has sat down for a chat."
