Sai didn't want to go next, but what was the point of being fearful for one more second. She grimaced once , her black eyes glittering like onyx stones as she smirked at the Gnoll called out. She walked to the front of the line, ignoring the plaintive gasps of astonishment from the other men and women in the group.

"I'm next...Sir." She called out, only mocking him slightly. Her black eyes turned a startling scarlet. It wasn't her choice what her eye color was.. She had seen what had happened to the young girl mage and pitied her. For mages didn't have the hard skin she did. Though it wouldn't block out all the pain, it would block out most of it. And she'd heal fairly quickly..In about an hour or so.
