The Northern Water Tribe: Kali

Kali stood up from the infirmary bed and walked over to the desk. She sat down then grabbed a sheet of paper and a pen. Who should I write to....? she thought. Oh, maybe Rika would like to know of the invasion, I'll write to her. Kali set the tip of the pen on the piece of paper and started to write.

Dear Rika,
Yesterday, there was an invasion that the Fire Nation attempted. We tried to fend them off, but it was no use. There were too many ships and firebenders. They're goal was to capture me and then threaten to kill me if my tribe didn't surrender. If we did come to that point, I would tell my tribe to let them kill me so they wouldn't have to surrender.
They did accomplish capturing me, but when I was being held, the strangest thing happened. A hooded figure came to see me when I was chained up in the leading ship of the invasion, but the person ended up helping me escape from the ship. They said only one thing, which they told me once the person had helped me out of the ship, the person said that we would meet again.
I have no idea who that person was, but I hope that I will be able to figure out.
Most of the waterbenders in my tribe are currently fixing the damage we took during the invasion. Hopefully, it isn't too bad. Currently I am in the infirmary, I got burnt a little but it won't leave a scar or anything. I haven't been able to see the damage, but soon I will.
Anyways, when my condition is better, I will be heading to the Earth Nation for a while for certain reasons. I will be able to see you there when I am visiting, it will be nice to see you again after so long. Also, how have you been? I hope everything is good with you.

Once Kali had finished writing the note, she put it on the back of a messanger hawk then set it to the Earth Nation to Rika. It would probably get there sometime today. Kali lied back down on the bed and stared at the ceiling thinking of everything that had hapened yesterday.
