Suki smiled at Loken as he introduced himself. The time change explained why they hadn't met yet. She started to raise her hand to shake Loken's, but Theo suddenly stood on his hind legs then broke the door. Suki was sure that she would have gotten hit had Loken not stood in front of her.
At first she was slightly offended, but she suddenly realized what he was freaking out about. 'Oh! Theo, I was talking to my horse. See? She kinda looks like a cow. That's my nickname for her- I wasn't trying to upset you. I'm sorry about that.' She said soothingly, gently reaching out to him and trying to calm him. Thea, clearly startled, neighed loudly and softly kicked the wall in between her and Theo as if to say, 'Stop that!'. Even though it seemed like the two didn't get along, Thea and Suki adored each other. Their bond was complicated, but it was there. Snorting, Thea shot the other horse a fierce look that said 'don't you dare hurt her!'. 'Thea- I've got it.' Suki told the angered horse gently, her face calm.
