Maura tensed slightly as the crow jumped on her shoulder. She didn't move away, but she sat and softly touched one of it's feathers. As it flew away, she waited quietly, resting her head on her knees. When Otis came back, she gave him an affectionate smile. She softly wiped her eyes with the tissue, and sighed. A tiny, hiccupy giggle escaped her as Otis shooed away his pet. She got along famously with Rya, but she knew of many that didn't really see eye-to-eye with their animals. Mosses and Otis clearly weren't fans of each other, but at least he didn't have an animals that could eat him at any given moment if he was hungry. Her wolf was one of the few species that had to stay in an enclosed area, but it really was for the safety of others. "Thank you. I'm -hic- Maura."
