Taylor's attack left the feminine corpse a stumbling sort of blood dispenser for a few moments, walking without real direction except for to shower her immediate area in crimson mist. She bumbled about the walls and fell aimlessly from one side of the corridor to the other before finally collapsing. She continued to writhe on the ground for some time.

Elsewhere, Stone was confronted with her own handless threat. She held up her knife toward the ghastly foe and, unsurprisingly, the blade punctured. It tore through the creature's thickly knitted uniform and skin, splitting the sinew underneath and striking a tough sheet of sternum before fracturing the ivory plate. The blade made its way through the jagged hole it had formed, into softer marrow, while the serrated edge chipped away at everything it touched. It severed a mess of veins inside of the handless, inevitably causing him to bleed out... but Stone's blade was stuck inside.

The creature's own weight began to pull it to the floor, the knife heavily lodged inside and coming down with it. Just feet away, Golikova had exacted a far more precise attack into the flesh of the last standing former human. The knife tore open a hole and blood started to drain down the girl's arm. The sharp tip of the blade began to tickle gray matter and, in a spastic fashion, the man lost control and fell into seizure on the ground. Most of the slain creatures, though decommissioned, were still visibly living or twitching in some morbid fashion. Death took a gruesomely longer time when executed with blades and cranial shots.
