Mikhail Charter
Fate ~ Office

Mikhail quickly hit the switch turning off the sound coming from the Lab in Wish. He lent on his elbows and stared at the screen, amazed by the creature which was on it. When Dr. Redfield shoved a muffin in the Alien's mouth, actually causing Mikhail to hit himself in the head with the palm of his hand. How can he be so stupid? he rolled his eyes, turning the sound back on. "Doctor, it's not a pet." Mikhail sighed, continuing to watch the Alien.

The Alien put it's hands up to the Muffin and took it from it's mouth, staring down silently at the thing, confused but not able to show much emotion in it's face. The cracking had stopped, it was a good thing to, the place was about to cave in. The Alien set the muffin on fire in it's hands and threw it to Doctor Redfield. Inferior human what trick is this? it spoke to Dr. Redfield through his mind, the voice burring itself deep inside the brain and echoing constantly. Perhaps it could understand human speech, perhaps not, it was also unknown how it managed to speak their language.

Alarms suddenly sounded around the whole building, they were extremely loud and Dr. Redfield could probably hear them through the intercom. Red lights flashed constantly around the buildings, in every room and hallway, apart from Mikhail's, he didn't like the constant flashing, though he could see it out in the hallway. "What now?" he sighed, it was probably another experiment trying to run away, that was usually the problem. "Lab 23 doors compromised; contagions escaped." the female automated voice said, which alerted everyone in the building. "But..." a look of sheer fear came across Mikhail's face as he knew what had broken loose, he didn't even care that he was still online to Wish and that they could hear everything which was going on. "All security personnel; use of lethal force, authorized." the voice came again, informing the guards, though, what could they do, even being near the things would most likely cause their death.

It was then when the rush of Viruses went past the door outside, down the hallways out towards the front door, however one of them was walking calmly and slowly. Almost as if he was telling everyone that he was the sane one, perhaps the leader. Whatever it was, it stopped, just outside Mikhail's office, turning it's head until it locked eyes with Mikhail. Mikhail just stared, muttering the word. "Rostislav..." under his breath, the virus seemed to confirm his theory because it came inside the doorway and grabbed a lab coat hanging up, putting it on he walked back into the flow of Viruses.

"No...no...no! Why now?!" Mikhail punched the desk beneath him, so hard it made his hand bleed. He looked back to the laptop, gathering his bearings he realized what must have caused them to get the power to escape. "Redfield!" he yelled at the laptop, into the intercom. "This is your fault! Do you realize what you've done? And don't think this doesn't concern you, because it does! Those things will travel the world now!" Mikhail was obviously very pissed off, it was because of the Alien that the Viruses had escape out into the world and they would travel and attack every city and town on the map. That was exactly what Mikhail was trying to avoid, he could have killed them, but it was too late now, his curiosity had taken control of him and just decided to drop them at the bottom of Lab 23, there was no way they could get out...they were all too stupid, that was all except Rostislav. "Damnit, my past coming back to haunt me again." Mikhail sighed, trying to regain a relaxed composure, he found no sense in worrying about things, just had to find a course of action. "Redfield, you'll be helping me, I swear to God, if he exists that is, you'll be helping me fix this mess, you and all of Wish, it's your fault too." Mikhail stood up before looking back at the laptop.

"I'll contact you in a few days, I need to clean this place up. If you need me before hand, then you have my number." he gave a slight glare at the screen before slamming the top down on the laptop. He stood up straight and strode out of the Office, looking up and down the halls where bodies of scientists, guards and Viruses were littering them. Mainly guards though, the scientists were just unfortunate to be in the way of the Viruses rampage. "Can I get someone to clean up this mess?!" Mikhail shouted down the halls, taking charge of the situation. He wasn't about to let the commotion affect the way he ran things around this place, although only he knew about the Viruses, it would certainly be a hard thing to explain when the time comes. For now he would just avoid the scientists, giving short answers and not even attempting to answer any of their questions.

He sighed once again, not even having a lab coat to put on since Rostislav had stolen it, though, what does Mikhail call him now...he was hardly the same colleague he used to know. Strangely enough, Mikhail had some feelings of regret into injecting Rostislav, not because of this outbreak of Viruses, but simply because he didn't think his new 'appearance' was very flattering, he also made a good colleague, when he didn't question Mikhail that was. Mikhail contemplated many ideas in his head about how to combat the Viruses, tests showed that even being near them would affect most humans and cause them to die in the most painful ways. The serum to combat the virus they spread was still in development, so the only other option was...super-humans, they didn't seem to be affected by the virus and they had the powers necessary to fight them, they may not have been as strong, but at least their sanity was still intact.

Mikhail counted the amount of super-humans he had which weren't failures and which could fight the Viruses, not that they had a choice in the matter. There was, 0014, 0022, 0162, 1412, 4666...0249 could perhaps fight, though it could be risky due to the side affects she was experiencing. 0000 and 9001 still had ability testing, but so far, 9001 was the closest to perfection Mikhail had seen. A faint smirk came across his face as he strode down the hallways and into Recovery Room 5. "Good news 9001, your ability testing has been moved up to now." Mikhail smiled happily at Andrei who was in the bed, ignoring the sleeping Lissa at his feet. He had to get the ability testing out of the way as soon as possible in order to start the battle against the viruses.
