It had worked before so there was no reason why a standard defense shouldn't have worked once more. The man simply lifted his blade in order to intercept the attack but the impact was bone shattering and that was exactly what happened. His left arm snapped near the wrist and her arm slammed into his side. The blade took the brunt of the attack but the man was taken off of his feet and thrown out of the car and onto the walkway. He slid to a stop before he grumbled and began to angrily get to his feet. He released his blade and reformed it in his right hand. If only this body were entirely dead, this woman would be dead. That was not the case. A broken left arm and broken ribs weren't helping either. He used the blade to aid him in getting to his feet but the woman was already nearing him.
