The desert, mostly empty and desolate, was only filled with harsh winds and course sand. Most people couldn't live in this place, but the Gerudos weren't most people. They are use to such dangers, but even they know when it is nearly impossible to travel through the sands.

This is what the Gerudo priestess Nabuko looked for as she traveled. She looked for the early signs of storms so that she could prepare herself and her young child. Nabuko knew she should also be looking out for signs of pursuit, but she had almost reached the Falling sands Bridge, which led towards Hyrule. When she had first fled from her people to go to Hyrule she had been afraid that her people already knew that she had gone, but now that she was this close her hopes started lifting. Even if they started tracking her now, she would reach safety long before they reached her.

Nabuko almost smiled at the thought of reaching her destination, but then she silently cursed herself. She can get her hopes up, that was fine, but one should never assume that since your near safety you are safe. This last stretch could be the part where she is killed. So Nabuko would be on guard and alert, but she wouldn't make such a big deal out of it. If she did she would get nervous, which in turn would make her baby nervous or fidget, which could lead to crying, and if that happened then Nabuko would have to stop and try and calm her down. Now that she was this close she wanted to be done with this journey. This time, when Nabuko smiled, she let it happen.

The Priestess traveled on, unaware of those pursuing her, and also unaware that the ones pursuing her were going to make sure she reached Hyrule safely.
