She was thoroughly impressed; her brother had so many ways to manipulate his power and seemed to be getting better. He’d have to help her figure out variations on how to harness her electricity. Before she could praise him anymore, as well as pick at him for being such a hero all the time, he promptly passed out to the floor with a thud. She scurried to the edge of the bed quickly and peered down at him with eyebrows raised. “Alex? You ok?” Furrowing her brow, she watched closely and could see he was still breathing so he wasn’t dead which meant he was ok in her book. “Well, uh, do you mind if I take the entire bed then?” Pausing, she tilted her head to the side as if listening for an answer. “What’s that? You’ll take the floor while I have the bed? You’re so generous! Such a good brother!” With a smile, she hopped off the bed with a pillow in hand then knelt beside him. “Take it easy on the water wielding from now on ok?” Edie placed the pillow under his head then looked around for an extra blanket before finding one in a drawer and covered him up. Crawling into bed, she covered up then turned the lights out. “Night Alex.”
