Alex tried to hold back the laughter that began to bubble up inside him. The father was actually buying this. He didn't want to trick Krissy's parents like that, but he couldn't just flat out say: "Hi. I'm a demon hunter. And the other guy is a vampire. Oh, by the way. Your daughter is a demon hunter too." And with the attacks getting more peculier and reckless, Alex couldn't take any chances. Wow, I never realized how bad things have gotten here.. Well, alright. If it's for my family's safety, then you can stay. But please, don't let my wife and daughter see the guns, alright? "Yes Sir. We'll be sure to stay out of your way. Don't worry about anything. We're here to protect this family." Alex technically wasn't lieing. It was his job to protect Krissy's family; but of course he was to protect the girl above everything else. As the father left the room, Alex snickered quietly to himself and sat down on one of the couches. "That's a nice addition you added." He laughed a bit, and shook his head. "A little over done. But it's a good edition to our made up cover story. And I'm sure her father will let us stay much longer now that he's got two 'police officers' protecting him and his family."
