Cassi had been talking to another Slytherin girl, not Leonora as she had remained silent for once, and looked up quickly at the sound of the door sliding open. One of her redheaded cousins, Tyler Weasley, cheerfully said hello to her before asking if he had interrupted something. " Oh hello Tyler. Of course you're not," Cassi replied carefully as she glared at the other Slytherins, most notably the one's who had ever said anything bad about anyone; which meant, all of them.

She smiled sweetly at her younger cousin, " Do you need somewhere to sit?" The raven haired Potter beckoned at him and waved her arm gracefully in the air, indicating there was still room for another if he would like to join them. As she brought her arm down a small white kitten with bright blue eyes darted through the open door and jumped up onto Cassi's lap, surprising several of the students in the compartment. Alec and Cassi, on the other hand, just looked at each other as they had both realized this was Ember's kitten Sapphire, Cassi's protective older sister, and she had sent her kitten to check up on Cassi.

The dark haired girl ignored everyone for a moment as she bent over the small feline, petting her soft fur for a few moments as she murmured into her ear. In a matter of a few minutes, the kitten was satisfied and leapt off her lap and back out the door, most likely to check on another family member or to return to Ember. Cassi didn't bother to explain as she looked back up at Tyler with an expectant look in her deep brown eyes.
