"I ordered two slices of cake because I want two slices of cake," she replied and took another drink. The stupid mortal alcohol was barely noticeable in her system. Any normal human would have been fairly drunk by now. She took an enormous swig off the scotch. A rap on the door caught her attention. She flounced to the door and opened it to find room service with a cart.
"Alright, madame. I have one order of fried calamari, a grilled chicken salad with ranch and no onions, and two slices of cake. Is there anything else you need?" Adara nodded her head and shut the door behind the room service. She popped a piece of fried calamari in her mouth. It was a little chewy for her taste, but she devoured the entire plate. She ate the salad slowly. She was only able to finish one slice of the cake. She brushed crumbs off on her jeans and headed towards the bathroom.
"I'm going to take a shower. If I come back and my cake is gone, I'm kicking you out. If you should get hungry while I am in the shower, order your own slice of cake." With those final words, she shut the bathroom door. The shower could be heard in the living room.
