Akira rolled her eyes and took a drink of scotch.
"Let me remind you of a two things. 1. We're in MY hotel room that I invited you to stay in. 2. We're going to have to learn to get along if Zeus is going to fall. I'll respect your wishes if you respect mine. And also... Just to throw it out there, I did nothing wrong to deserve to be banished and can go home to my kingdom anytime," her tone was still monotone. She had mastered the art of keeping emotions detached and off of her face. Without waiting for his reply, she flopped down on the bed in the middle. With another drink of scotch, she pulled out the bible from the drawer beside her. She put a pair of headphones in. Loud, angry music drowned out all the other noises in the room. She flipped it open to a marked spot in the book. She began reading it intently, taking another drink of scotch. She figured if she could drown everyone out, she might do better in this world.
