Adara looked through rows of shoes. The vendor had a lovely collection of sandals, but Adara despised sandals. With a smile towards the handsome store owner, she exited his shop. She wandered down the street a few paces before she stopped at Dr. Lightning's Extraordinaire. It seemed promising. Once inside, Adara saw every type of clothing article that she could buy to her hearts content. She went to the boots. A pair of bright purple, patent leather doc martens with bright pink guitars on the back caught her eye.
"Excuse me, sir. Do you have a pair of these in size seven?" she asked.(It's italicized because she's speaking in Greek.)
"Let me look in the back. I'll be right back." The salesperson was in a kilt and knee high boots. Adara bit her tongue in order to not laugh. She saw a knee length leather trench coat that looked like it would fit Akira. [i]AKIRA! That's it. He's the friend who seems as a foe.
She took the trench coat off the rack. The salesman had reappeared with the boots.
"I don't need to try on the boots. I would like to purchase them, along with this stunning jacket. D'you do gift wrapping?" The salesman rung up the jacket and the boots. He then proceeded to wrap the jacket in a black box with a Scarlet ribbon. Adara handed him three hundred Euros. Without taking the change, she exited the store. She spotted Akira, an angry look on his face. She took a deep breath to steady herself, before she headed over.
"Excuse me, Akira," she said softly, "I just spotted you here and I feel terrible about last night. I hope you'll take this present as part of my apology." She handed him the box with the bow. She wasn't expecting an apology from Akira. From what she had seen of him last night, he didn't seem like the apologetic type. She turned around to leave and headed back towards the hotel.
