Subject 12 had taken a few cautious steps away from Subject 19.5, he could clearly see the other's anger and he wasn't comfortable being anywhere near the other mutant. 12 sighed deeply, glancing around at the base they were walking in, he hadn't noticed the machine as it reformed. The next thing he knew was he was wrapped tightly in the grasp of a metal snake. Though 12 could still breath, he let out a pained gasp of air, the sheer force of the thing crushing his lungs as well as his body."I think you didn't understand what I meant as that is that your an idiot." 21 said to him, obviously provoking Subject 12, which naturally worked. Subject 12 growled under his breath and struggled, despite the tight bind he was in. Suddenly a thick layer of spikes appeared around him, it had only taken him a second to stop struggling, however the tips of the spikes had pierced his arms. "12 you do see 19 isn't here to save you who is his minion?" The mutant didn't reply, instead he growled even louder under his breath, lowering his gaze. Though the mutant wasn't entirely smart and easily provoked into a rage -- one where he would become completely illogical, but despite all of that he desperately tried to find a way out of his situation.

The thing which caught the attention of 12 was the actions of 19.5; the mutant raised his hand and within a flash Subject 12 stood next to the mutant. He let out a sigh of relief, doubling over and taking in a huge breath. His ribs hurt badly and his chest felt like it could burst any second from lack of air. "There is no reason in trying to take Subject 12." Subject 19.5 said, although his voice seemed further away than it really was. "If you want to fight you should target me!" The mutant now yelled out, a clear sign of how frustrated he really was. Subject 12 would of moved away, but his chest hurt way too badly. there was a sudden black out in which 12's eyes widened out of fear. He straightened himself up but emitted a low growl from the pain, he wouldn't be surprised if a rib or two was damaged. "Are you enjoying yourself?" A familiar female voice echoed around the rooms of the entire base, it could of only been Subject 20.

Subject 12 closed his eyes for a moment, blocking out all sounds around him and attempting to get his breathing back to normal. "Come we can't waste time here." The words snapped the mutant back into reality and he opened his eyes to stare at the door leading into the training room. "We have a slight technical problem 19.5 take something else from my collection." At least Subject 21 had regained control, though... 12 had no idea why that was a good thing, but he knew nothing about Subject 20 but the other former-mutant he had gotten on with... sometimes. An opponent which you couldn't see was not the easiest thing to defeat. Subject 12 once again took the minutes of 21's ranting to regain his breath and think for a moment, he knew nothing about either of the two sides but yet he had switched back and forth between them, always being kept in the dark. It wasn't a good thing of course and as such he probably lost the trust of both Subject 21 and Subject 19. However he was on God's side now, the winning side. Perhaps the mutant was a bit selfish and contradictive, always betraying the other to join the stronger side.

The sound of gun fire is what brought the mutant back to reality, he stared for a moment at the new creature coming down the halls releasing a stream of bullets. Subject 12 grumbled under his breath, they were constantly being attacked, not that they really expected Subject 21 to give up so easily. "Yes I know your going to survive this without a scratch I just love to test." Not allowing Subject 19.5 to think about how he was going to deal with the machine, Subject 12 grabbed onto the mutant's arm and dragged him backwards and around the corner. "I know you can deal with it," 12 stated with a small frown, "But-" Subject 12 suddenly stopped as he screamed out in pain, reaching behind him and pulling out something which just wasn't there. He quickly span around and narrowed his eyes at Subject 16-B who seemed to be holding something. "Master 21 now proceeding to deal with targets Subject 12 and Subject 19.5" 16 stated in his usual professional tone. 16 had heard the conversation as Subject 20 over took the system and as such the mutant left the other two and ran to help. Subject 12 growled under his breath, the whole inside of his body ached but he wasn't wounded everywhere, it felt as if his entire system was shutting down. His eyes became blurry and he swayed left and right slightly but he remained standing. With one swift motion, Subject 16-B threw two more of his invisible knives straight at Subject 12 and Subject 19.5
