Erik shivered in the cold his hood covering his face, he waited for the trap he had set to catch something. He hid in a tree not making a move. Finally the small silver bell rang and his ears twitched as he grinned. He swung down and landed with barely an audiable sound. Walking to his trap he saw he had caught a rabbit. The eyes of the rabbit were scared and looked at him to be free. He sighed and drew out his hunting knife, "sorry but I need to eat..." he said as he quickly slit the rabbits throat making sure it died painlessly. He waited for it to bleed out and cleaned his hands and knife in the snow. He picked his prey by the ears and quickly went back to his camp, he skinned it gutted it and ate all he could making the rest jerky. His ears twitched and he sighed, "...better get moving..." he said as he packed his supplies and headed away sniffing the air for some sign of life. He found a scent and frowned, it seemed human...but something else as well.

He thought for a moment and shrugged as he started to follow it. He reached an abandon manor and crouched down staying down wind to whatever was making the scent. He silently thanked his uncle for teaching him wilderness survival. He kept his head down as he tried to listen to the movements happening inside.
