Jiangu glanced away as she studied the poor condition of the old manor, though as Erik apologized she glanced back at him when she heard a chuckle.
Nodding her head, though she didn't understand about not seeing family in the same situation as he had, she did however understand about what it was like not being able to see her own. Though it was entirely a different situation then Erik's.
"I can't say I know how that feels...and it's alright, Erik."
Jiangu replied, though she looked at him as she spoke again.
"Though I do know what it's like not being able to see my family...except completely different situation then yours."
She explained, though she didn't go into it. Something told her otherwise though he acted like it didn't bother him about not getting to see his own family, she somehow doubted that it didn't bother him. But she wouldn't press it from him. So she wouldn't say anything else about it. If he wanted to talk about it, then fine. Though hearing Erik's question, she glanced at him.
"Hmmm sometimes it varies. I guess it depends on the person really. I know it took Damon a long time to do it, he wouldn't admit that though...but he still can't control it now and it's been almost half a year."
Jiangu answered him. Though hearing the other question about there being a cure, she shook her head sadly at him.
"Sadly there is no cure, Erik."
She said as she gave him an apologetic look.

Damon didn't expect her to back down by his growl. He only did it to clearly show he wasn't going to allow even a woman to growl at him just because. He got that from his alpha already though, he had to let that slide from Jiangu. But he wasn't going to put up with anyone else giving him attitude. When he walked away he wouldn't give Aio-mary a second thought. That was until he felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to look at her. He didn't smile. His eyes studied hers almost cautiously. Not quite sure what to expect from her. Though surprise showed on her expression as he heard the woman's apology. Hearing her words he blinked at her, he hadn't expected to hear her apologizing. Brushing the white hair and black streaks from his face as he tossed something into the cart he turned his attention back onto her. Not sure what to really think about this woman.
"Not that I didn't deserve it."
He would say as he looked at her. Whether that surprised her, he shrugged.
"I've been told that I act like a prick at times. No biggie. Though you may have to get use to it, there's a few of us around here. I live with some."
He said shaking his head, though he didn't know about the newcomer he was meaning he lived with Jiangu he didn't want people assuming he and Jiangu were together when they weren't. She was just an alpha to him. Nothing more. A companion perhaps but nothing that meant anything that great to him. Though hearing the woman asking him something, he blinked surprised that she was asking about making it up to him.
"Don't worry about it."
He said shrugging as in telling her she didn't have to go out of her way to do anything.
"I do come drinking here a lot.."
He said, but stopped what he was going to say and shrugged.
