Allyse sat at her desk, a notebook in front of her. She cocked her head to the side slightly.
"You," she said to the guard who's ear was bleeding, "go fix your ear up." Allyse's voice was soft and delicate, no more than a whisper. Kurt, Allyse's half-wolf, half-Siberian husky, let out a small whine. She brought Kurt to work with her because 'studies' had proved that animals could be part of mental healing.
"Okami," she said in a very, soft gentle tone, "This is Kurt." She slowly made her way over to him. She kept her eyes on him, avoiding eye contact. She was standing about three feet away from him.
