Sesshomaru stopped midway when they crossed paths with Kagome. Though she had greeted him kindly, he wasn't big on greetings himself. As well as everyone knew him not to be much of a talker.
"Kagome."
He answered the priestess of the village. He knew she had always been one, though finally seeing the priestess in actual priestess clothing wasn't as weird for him to see then it had been when she wore that other thing. He hardly called it clothing. Though he didn't smile, seeing Sesshomaru smiling was always a rare sight. He was all about power and honor and what not. Though he wasn't trying to disrespect Kagome either. He had been thankful for those times in the past for saving Rin when she was a small child, and he had been thankful to her for being there for Rin when he had left her to be with her own kind in the village. He didn't have to be told that Kaede had passed away as that was all but too easy to tell in scent for a full demon, let alone a half demon. Though he still didn't think of his half brother as his equal he wasn't as bad as he had been towards Inuyasha. Sesshomaru stopped though he didn't comment about Inuyasha being missing, he wasn't at all surprised. Sesshomaru honestly didn't care if Rin called Kagome or anyone little nicknames though he wasn't about to call anyone that himself, it wasn't his nature.

It was just how the dog demon was, not that he didn't love Rin, he did. And seeing her so beautiful, made his love just as much the same for Rin, though she didn't tell her his love. Sesshomaru wouldn't have known about what had happened in Rin's life that would've made her thankful about being around the women in the village rather then himself, though he didn't need to know that. Though he glanced at Rin hearing her addressing him, he wouldn't glare but he didn't seem all into having to look for his half demon brother, it almost felt like having to babysit someone. Though he didn't lash out or anything. He spoke so full of pride.

"Must it be I that has to fish you out of your troubles, dear brother."

Sesshomaru thought to himself as his golden yellow eyes narrowed somewhat as he was in thought. Glancing back at Kagome, Sesshomaru stared at her.
"I assure you, Inuyasha doesn't need a human to worry about him, though you'll find him alright."
Sesshomaru answered them, whether he knew something or what that wouldn't have been certain. He caught Inuyasha's scent, as he turned in that direction. Staring towards that direction was like his own way of pointing to Kagome and Rin where Inuyasha was.
