Damon hefted his pack farther up on his shoulder, and looked down at the small village. It's always weird coming back home. he thought. He glanced at the walled town near the village. The kirkwell's keep us all in chains. Some day they will be overthrown. He started down the hill towards a small building at the edge of the village. He could see a little girl running in the small feild next to the building.
When she saw him she squealed and ran as fast as she could to him. "Your back!!" She slamed into him full force, knocking him over into the long grass. He laughs, "Of course I'm back, I always come back." He stands up, pulling her along with him. "Let go, I want to say hello to mother and father." The girl nods and takes his hand, pulling him along towards the house.
