When Anne woke up, it was still dark. She looked at the clock located at her bedside table, it said: 4:00. It was still early in the morning, but Anne got up, took a bath and dressed herself in her usual manner. She peeked outside her door to see if anyone was already awake. Besides from the guards and some of the maids, everyone was still asleep. She sighed as she closed her door. Then she suddenly realized that the day she was waiting for has arrived. Today was the very day that her personal maid always went to town to buy some seafood and other stuff that they were in need of. She got excited about this as she opened her door again. She walked past several bedrooms and floors, until she reached the maid's quarter.

She knocked on the door and opened it carefully. Inside, some maids were still sleeping, but her personal maid was already awake and preparing for her trip to town. Her personal maid, Amanda, looked at her with a surprised expression. " Princess Anne, what are you doing here in such an early hour? " Amanda asked her, letting go of the basket she was holding and walking fast towards her. Anne smiled and whispered, " Amanda, can I go with you in town? " Amanda had her puzzled expression on. And Anne was afraid that she won't be going with Amanda.

" Please? I really want to see other people. I'm getting tired of this palace. " Anne told Amanda with her lips pouting slightly. She realized that she might have looked weird. Amanda laughed lightly and nodded. " But what if your parents would learn about this? " she asked Anne. Anne thought of an alibi that would make her reason for going into town valid. But then, it might be not so easy. She was forbidden to go outside the palace grounds. But if she really pleads her parents when they get back, it could work.

" Then please don't tell them that I left " Anne told Amanda with a smile. It was the perfect plan. " Well, if you say so. Let's go " Amanda told her as she led the way towards the palace exit. The guard was clearly confused about the two of them going somewhere. " I will just be in the pool or the garden " Anne told him. The guard opened the door and let them out. "Wait. How do you get down from here? " Anne asked Amanda.

" The queen allows us to use the pegasus for this. " she answered with a grin. Anne grabbed her wrist as they went towards the pegasus that were waiting for them and rode it. After a few moments, Amanda told her that they have reached their destination. Anne got down from the pegasus with Amanda's help as her eyes wandered immediately. There were plenty of people even though it was still early. She couldn't say anything, she was speechless. ' So this is what it looks like. I hope that I meet some people here ' Anne thought as she smiled.
