But even in his current state, it was apparent that the two she-wolves were at odds with each other, and he was about to intervene, when a thought struck him: Why Bother? He was not their alpha, he was not their great mediator, and it was apparent that these two wolves were simply incompatible. And he was stuck with them. Their rants towards each other were rather hard to follow in his sleepy state, although he was aware that Aylen was about to storm off. Listening carefully, he advised her not to go off alone into the night, especially with winter about to approach and she being injured. "But I realized how much my opinion matters to you, you have made that apparent. So be my guest, and do whatever you want." Nova added, meeting her gaze but not repeating her growl.
