Nikolas Ze

He didn't know what was going on. All he knew was that his head hurt and that his entire body was sore, like someone had opened him up to take a peek at what lay inside. But, above all else, his head hurt. Where am I? Am I in Timeless? He wasn't sure. He didn't think there were any buildings solely made out of metal, with sounds echoing through the halls like some kind of horror movie, but he could be wrong. How long had he spent in Timeless? Too long. Still, that didn't mean he knew the whole place inside and out. Wincing as he sat up, Nikolas blinked slowly, eyes slowly adjusting to the dimly lit... Cage. Yes, that was all you could call it. A cage. Why did he feel like he was just asleep? Like some kind of Sleeping Beauty, waking up after a year or two of sleep. I want to go back to sleep. I want to die. Nikolas looked around the room, eyes drifting over the darkness. There wasn't anything else in the place, just the floor and four walls. And a door, but that was locked. Not like Nikolas checked, but why would it be open? Besides, checking it would require moving, and Nikolas didn't feel like doing that. He yawned. Maybe he'd get some more sleep...?

"You never feel like doing anything, brother." Nikolas felt his closing eyes flash open, darting around the room frantically. In the far corner, a small blond sat, curled up in a ball. His clothes were filthy, and his hands clutched at a small stuffed bear. His eyes were closed, but his mouth was upturned in an evil smirk, sending a shiver down Nikolas's spine. "You do only what is best for you... That's why I'm dead." Nikolas shook his head, a small noise of protest leaving his mouth. His brother stood, opening his eyes. They were glazed over with a milky white, and his mouth was sown shut. He walked over to Nikolas, and now the older could smell the smoke on the body, see the charred clothes. "You killed me, brother. You left me to die."

"No!" Nikolas shoved himself farther back against the wall, covering his ears with his hands (which was somewhat awkward, because his hands were cuffed together) and shutting his eyes, shaking his head like a small child hearing bad news. "You're not real! I know what happened to you! I'm sorry! It's all my fault!" His head jerked back up when he heard the sound of something hissing, but the ghost was gone and Nikolas couldn't tell where it was coming from. He let out a gasp as the wall with the door suddenly opened, standing up slowly and walking over to the opening. It couldn't be possible, but it was the same exact acid that Rei used. Did that mean Rei just let him out? Nikolas didn't like that idea, actually, and shivered. But no, it was Rei, and he was getting chased by a horde of security guards. Guards who, Nikolas realized with shock, were over 18. We're out of Timeless... But what is going on? Nikolas glanced around as the guards took off, probably running after that idiot, Rei. Nikolas stuck his head outside of the hole in the wall, and slowly left the small cell. It might have been as comfortable as a rock, but at least no one could sneak up on him in there.

"Remember, you're useless. The others might put their trust in you, but I know where that got me." Nikolas turned to look back in the cell, not realizing Rei was back and trying to get Cyrus out of the cell. Nikolas's eyes went wide and he felt the air leave him. "K... Katie?" The girl smirked at him, walking forward with her confident sway. She looked fine... Perfectly normal and in great condition. "Yep. Alive and well, no thanks to you." Her words stung like a slap to the face, but Nikolas couldn't help but feel like he deserved it. He gulped, stepping half into the cell again, one arm out to try to grab her with his hands. His hands went right through her, and she disappeared in a puff of gray and white smoke. "You can't do anything right. Remember that." Nikolas grit his teeth and shook his head, stepping back out of the cell. He almost walked over to Rei, before deciding to give him some space with Cyrus.

I need to get these cuffs off, Nikolas decided as he looked at them. He could always blow them up, but they were too tight and he didn't want to risk cutting a vein in his wrist. I'll ask Rei to do it, Nikolas decided. If he'll do anything for a looser like me. Nikolas doubted it, but you never knew with someone like Rei. Besides, they had more important things to do, Nikolas realized as he heard the sound of boots hitting the metal floors. Guards. They needed to get moving, and fast. Nikolas glanced over at Rei and raised a hesitant eyebrow. Are you going to do anything?

Airm Fola

It was easy to say that he was easily amused, but he wasn't. No, he was only amused when someone happened to be in pain, especially physical pain, even if that person happened to be him. With no one else being in his cell (thing... He wasn't sure what to call it) he had no entertainment. And considering he was both a sadist and a masochist, he had to find something to do soon... Besides, he was curious about where he was. It certainly wasn't Ireland. Something about the place told him that. No, did that mean he was in England? But why did he feel like he had been asleep for much longer than that? And why did his whole body seem to ache...? He blinked his eyes slowly, trying to figure out where he was with his single working eye. Now that... That was one of the few experiments that had gone horribly wrong. After all, despite what the other children had said, he didn't want to become blind in that eye. He just wanted to see what it felt like. And damn, it felt good... For the first part. After the blood really started pouring it hurt more and more, but now it only hurt on bad days. Even then it was a dull throb, like a bruise over a joint.

"Where am I?" Airm asked to the walls, Irish accent bouncing around the echoing room. If he was in America, his accent would be a dead giveaway, in the hope that he escaped to freedom. Then again, if I meet anyone they might fall for it... Airm smiled darkly to himself. He could always use it to his advantage, if he was in America. If he was in England then he'd have to do his best to leave... Of course he wouldn't want to go back to Ireland, so where else could he go? Either way, it seemed like Airm's path would lead him to America. "Well, there are worse places to go," Airm muttered. He slowly stood, looking around the room for something to help him escape. Like he thought, nothing. "Oy, this is weird..." They had left him his silver dagger. If they were expecting to keep him under lock and key, they were doing a pretty rubbish job about it. He pulled it out of his belt, examining the blade curiously. This could be fun, he thought as he flipped it around, so the blade was facing him.

"What are you doing awake?!" A man suddenly shouted, the door opening. Airm spun around as two strong hands grabbed him, making him drop the dagger. Airm let out a noise of protest, but the air was let out of him as he was kneed in the stomach. He was shoved into the nearest solid surface (a table that was bolted to the ground) and he felt himself start to panic as his hands were tied behind his back. Ok, this has gone on long enough, Airm thought, forcing himself to remain calm. He lashed out with his legs, kicking at someone's knee. He was released, but almost immediately fell to the ground, arms tied behind his back. He hit his head on the floor and saw stars. "Get him under, now!" A man, the one from earlier, shouted. Airm didn't have enough strength (or presence of mind) to fight back as he was latched onto the table, a needle jabbed into his arm.

"Get the fuck off me!" Airm shouted as he felt his limbs stop responding to him. The scientists (four in total; one of which stood off to the side with a clipboard) ignored him. With a jolt of fear, Airm realized the needle only stopped him from moving, and didn't take the pain away. He learned this when one of them prodded him with a silver scalpel. Airm was all one for a little pain, but he did not like being restrained or unable to move. That was crossing the line in his head (which was already far enough). And this was definitely past his comfort level. "What the bloody hell are you doing?!" Airm screamed at the scientists as one of them cut into his knee. It wasn't very deep, but he was starting to panic. Despite his best attempts to calm down, he could feel his heart beat faster and faster.

"First test on the success level. Commence shot now." Shot? That either meant they were going to shoot him, or they were going to stick another needle in. When one of the scientists pulled out a needle with some suspicious looking golden-brown stuff in it, Airm decided that this was not going to be fun. "I would stop protesting... If this does not go in right, then you might die." Yes, because that was certainly going to get him to calm down. Airm bit his lip as the needle was slowly extended into the cut. I wish I could kill you all... Then I'd be laughing at your pain, Airm thought. It didn't hurt as much as he feared, but the liquid did not raise his hopes. "We'll return at 1000 hours to see if subject has reacted positively to shot." With that, the bonds were released and the scientists left, Airm still unable to move from the table.

"Damn them... Americans..."
