Blast was running, making sure that Kyra and Dusk stayed close so they could get the others and get out as quick as they could. He almost didn't notice but a hand was ripped from his and he gritted his teeth. This was so much harder than if he were by himself, he could have keep running, keep himself safe and worry about no one. This was the one downside Blast saw to having friends. Being in the Lab he personaly had no need for friends, only the need to keep himself alive. But Amp was bugging him, urging him to go back and think about others besides himself.
He skided to a stop and looked around, there were so many mirrors that there was an affect that they were completly surrounded with no way out. But he could tell the difference, most looked exactly the same and others were over lapping themselves. There weren't nearly as many guards as it was made out to be.
Dusk wasn't there next to him, she was the hand that was pulled from him. He ran back down the path and cought a couple glimpses of her and had to close his eyes because he was going to run into mirrors if he didn't. With his eyes closed he could still see okay and he growled to himself. The guards aimed their guns and were about to shoot. There was Dusk, he quickly pushed her down and out of the way as the guns went off. He used the sounds the bullets made and made a thin sheild around them.
He grabed Dusk's hand and pulled her up. "Don't let go. You're going to get yourself killed." He started running again, grabbing Kyra on the way and going down the passage looking for any sign for where the others were. It was getting noisey in the arena and it was hard for him to pinpoint where exactly the others were. He glanced over his shoulder to see how far away the guards were and winced. He hadn't realized but a bullet was lodged in his shoulder. He didn't pay attention to it. There wasn't time, but blood started seeping through his shirt.
