New York
Eddie was making his way out of the airport, the meeting had gone well. Soon heād make the deal with Johnās former business partner Lenore Maxsin. With the two combined attempting to deal with the energy crisis would be a possibility, and the millions theyād make would secure him in the financial world for years to come. To deal with the situation he was planning to obtain more Nest, he was looking at his phone. Good Freddie responded, time to get my fix, then itās about to be mega millions, rich boy. He smiled thinking of thoughts of success as he read through the message Freddie had sent him.
He easily made his way through security, and having only brought a bag. Baggage Claim was a breeze for him, finally exiting the masses of living traffic he looked outside. He saw swarms of cars driving up, and taxiās. Whistling he made his way over to a taxi, pushing a man with a brief case to the ground as he slipped in the back- seat, and handed him his phone." I need to get there, Iāll pay for traffic, just leggo.ā The man nodded starting up the car and driving forward before the man he pushed down could get to his feet. Eddie leaned back in his chair, dealing with drama in the airport with the activities he was trying to cover up was something he did not want to deal with.
He looked into his pocket, taking a peak at his last crystal clear pill. He made sure the driver was paying him no attention and he pushed it deep into his pocket. After about an hour long drive he pulled out a few 20 dollar pills handing them to the driver. āKeep the change, I know itās New York, so you know haha.ā Eddie stepped out the taxi and looked at the apartment. He took a deep breath, he was a few minutes away from his destiny. Theses pills and his abilities combined he could see the future his mother envisioned for him, a politician, someone making an impact on the free world, a world leader, the President, The Supreme Court, a musician, he no longer had boundaries. He had transcended any thing related to the world limit, es was added to every word that described him now. He entered the aparment complex and made his way over to the elevator.
āFeels good being in the Big Apple, but now.ā He thought about Chloeās phone call, there was an organization out there that knew about him, he felt uneasy. If Chloeās boss really went about talking, he could be in trouble, he didnāt fear Law Enforcement. They couldnāt just print such scandaolous things about him without any form of proof other then Chloe went missing and she planned to do a story on him as plenty others have. Stepping into the elevator he pressed eleven and leaned against the railing as he listened to the corny elevator music, until the doors slid open. Making his way out he went over to his friendās room and knocked.
Almost instantly the door slid open and Freddie was seen. He was sporting a black eye, bruised lip, and some dried blood on a ripped Aeropostle T shirt. Eddie couldnāt help but frown at his friendās injuries. He knew if others were as desperate for Nest as he was, and didnāt have the proper financing to support their habit they could respond violently. āFreddie man you ok bruh, if you need help, I can help you B. Honestly, Iām not the same anymore cuz of this shit, Iām changing Iām .āFreddie pushed him a bit and shook his head.
āShut the fuck up bro, get the fuck inside, I got a new supply, look itās just nothing I mean.ā Suddenly Freddie fell to the ground a man in a grey suit was seen with a taser, and a woman was seen by the door shutting it. Eddie looked at Freddie prepared to use his abilities in self defense, as the man looked at him.
āEddie Campton, the infamous prophet of the Stock Market. I must say, unlike must youāve put our product to good use, I suppose you had a good investement in your money. There was another who started an import export business another is becoming really good writing a TV Drama, a Crime Drama actually, anyway we work directly for the company who manufactures Nest, and weāre going to offer you a life-time supply, for a strict payment of course, because we think your good product placement, a good example to make a better selling, what to do you say, 100 dollars a month, or no 200 dollars a month for now, the higher you go well you know, and as a result your friend lives, heās actually a good salesman.ā
Eddie looked at him. āAlright listen up, you let Freddie live no matter what, and Iāll think about your life-time supply of this shit, but how do I even know you guys aren't
The woman tossed him a plastic baggie which was filled with the crystal pills he had come to love before he could even complete his sentence. He looked at Freddie, and saw the man pulling out a gun. He knew he could use his powers, but he hadnāt acquired millions he would need to deal with people like them, and even then he didnāt know if he could fight a one man war against a company of this caliber, nor risk exposing his abilities to them.ā STOP! Iāll take your deal, just..fuck just fucking leave Freddie alone, damn.ā The woman opened the door, and the man put his gun away, as Eddie rushed over to Freddie to feel his pulse.
āDonāt worry, heāll be alive as long as you prove of some use to you. My Name is Thomas by the way, my partnerās name, well thatās reserved for the people sheās intimiate with. Good day to you.ā Thomas headed outside with the woman and the door was shut. Eddie was pissed as he used his own powers to lift Freddieās body in the air and lay him on the couch. He pressed down on a button with the fridge with his powers causing ice to fall out and he moved a glass cup over to catch the falling ice. Then moved the cup over to Freddie and layed it against his arm. He pulled out his phone looking at the numbers he confiscated from Chloe. Hmm a Fire-man, good thing Chloe found most of her associates right here, Itās time I had a few bites of this apple, Iāll need all the guns I can to deal with this. Eddie looked at his frien then his phone and began heading towards the door, his friendās life was stake, and he had a mission to a fulfill, a date with destiny, and with fate one could never be late.

Anna and George had come all the way to New York. Anna had a love for New York, especially Brooklyn and Manhattan. The way so many cultures were blended together in this one city, the one city that was suppose to be itās superior was Shanghai and that was something sheād like to experience. The Horrid smelling sewers, the ranting locals who despised tourists for the most parts besides those who had the displeasure of working with them, the legendary traffic jams, and a place of musical excellence whoās only united states comparison was Atlanta. Anna smiled as they entered the floor of the office building where Tim Vernon worked at. āAlright so hereās the deal we fuck him up, then search through the memories and heāll know the deal by then, find out what he knows about our mysterious Weaver.ā With that she took out the picture she had of Chloeās boss and began asking around for Timās location, eventually they made there way to an office. Inside Tim had a gun in his drawer, and was looking up all he could about Mr. Campton. āDamn damn, I gotta do something before he comes.ā Anna knocked on the door. āHello Mr Vernon we need to speak to you, FBI.ā

Kaci lay in the hospital bed tears in her eyes, her maniac Bi polar disorder was getting worst. She had been able to control that for the longest, something she attributed to herself proclaimed strong sense of self, and her pothead tendencies and even her alcoholism. She felt responsible for harming Tamika, who had suffered cardiac arrest. Had her outburst caused the build up of stress in someone so young, she grabbed a tissue to dry the tears in her eyes. The door creaked open as Jevonte stepped into her hospital room, her room-mate was complaining about how Doctors were evil, and would be the end of them.
āYo bitch shut the fuck up, Iām talking to my friend.ā As the patient went to rant Jevonte shook his head as he knelt down by Kaci and placed a box of Churchās chicken by the table near her hospital bed. He knew that was her favorite chicken joint, as he kissed her on the forehead. āI know it aināt no Trey Songz, donāt go with me there, you alright Kaci. I heard about Tamika too, sounds like someone slipped some PCP, doctor said all they found in you was Weed, and them pills Adderall.ā Kaci nodded, she didnāt feel like talking. She knew or at least she thought she knew she couldnāt cause people to suffer heart attacks, she wasnāt Jesus.
āJevonte, I dunno bruh. I pissed Tamika, I didnāt take my meds, I knew I shoudnāt be popping them pills, flipping out, what if like do you think the wrong shit could mess some-body else up just by touching them. Like if it was strong I mean what if Tamika is here cause of me, cause.ā Some tears came in her eyes, Jevonte looked at her and shook his head. He knew Kaci felt somewhat responsible as he heard from some people in Star-bucks about the argument, but regardless he would stand for his friends.
āHell no Kaci, and even if it could karma wouldnāt do some shit like hat to you, Iāll be later got a math test, and you know how that fat ass be tripping, Iāll be back later, donāt be too hard on yourself shit happens.ā Jevonte stepped out, and Kaci looked to see some cards from some of the other people from her college. She sighed she wasnāt even sick, just crazy. Her doctor was hoping to release her, but she had a mandatory visit with her āTherapistā Sighing she sat up, reaching over to open the chicken box. She bit into the biscuit, and took a bite out of the chicken only to hear her room-mate ranting about how chicken was made.
She clenched her fist, and suddenly the ranting was over. Kaci began eating but paused. āLindsey! Why you stopped bitching Lindsey! āKaci got out of her bed looking at the door to make sure her doctor wasnāt coming. She rushed over to the bed, and tossed the sheets off and began looking in panic seeing her room mate was gone but her bed was there. āShit itās happening again, people are leaving, itās me somethingās.ā Kaci felt pain in her head, an fell to her knees. āOh God why this happening, why Iām loosening it I neve did no crazy acid shit or nothing why it happening to me.ā She said as she began to tear up once again feeling as though her grip on reality was loosening, and beginning to ponder if Lindsey was there in the first place or just a figment of her imagination.
