Eden was frozen where she stood. She was too scared to move. Somewhere in the back of her mind she heard thought she heard a voice asking if she had a plan. The voice sounded familiar, but it kinda reminded her more of the adults in peanuts. Most of what she heard was "wah wah, wah wah wah?" She forced herself to shake her head, hopefully clearing some of the fog that slowly began to decend upon her mind. She tried to find the words to answer but all she could do was stare at the thing. The empty sockets where eyes once sat. The patch of bone showing where the nose should've been. The boney hand reaching her. It took a few moments before she realized it was crawling up her, hanging on with muscles it no longer had. It had made its way up to her knees and soon her theighs. She could smell death and decay on him. A stench so bad her stomach churnned, nausiatingly. Her head swam, searching for things she remembered from stories that could help her, but due to the distracting circumstances, she came up short. All she could do is stare.
