Mason inhaled deeply. If he was being honest, he didn't have a clue how they were going to do this. There was the obvious way, get them drunk, seduce them and get them talking. But, somehow, he had a feeling these girls weren't going to be so easy. He was sure they had had hundreds of men trying to do that in the past, they'd spot it a mile off. No, they were smarter than that. They needed something special.

Mason stood up and walked over to the freshly brewed pot of coffee Dean had made up. He poured himself a mug before talking. 

"The case says befriend them and infiltrate their lives by any means necessary. I suggest we start by introducing ourselves. It'll have to be casual to start off with. Any drama or something that seems slightly off and they'll spot it in seconds," Dean replied, hoping the slight waver in his confidence wasn't detectable in his even voice. Although, if there was anyone who was going to pick it up, it would be Dean Winchester. But Mason was a practiced liar and deceiver, if anyone was going to stop  someone seeing something he didn't want them to, it was Mason. 

Mason took a sip of his coffee.  The warm, heavily caffeinated brew had an instant effect on him, calming him. He remembered clearly the last time he'd used coffee to calm himself. He'd ordered one in the restaurant right before he'd asked Bethany to be his wife. Come to think of it, that had been the last time Mason had been really, truly nervous in the last two years. Perhaps it was her who had kept him calm since then. Perhaps he needed her...

'Fucking hell, Mason!' he thought angrily to himself, 'Get yourself together! You've got a great case and a great opportunity to prove yourself to the police force. This could be your big break, don't fuck it up!'
When he had joined the police force that'd had been the one piece of advice he had been given by his first boss; personal life stays at home. And that was what was going to happen. This was possibly the most important case he had ever had, and nothing was going to distract him. 

"I've rung round a few people. They've got some big promotion going on tonight in the bar the own, Shianos. If we go along we might just get to talk to them," Mason suggested.
