As she bent down to place an empty bottle of vodka under the counter, she suddenly heard her name being shouted, by a familiar voice.........
Withing seconds she had stood, and began to make her way around the bar........
She then swiftly backed up in-between the bar-stools where Lee and a man she didn't know from Adam, sat.
"Lee, sweetie........what exactly are saying about little ol' me??" Knatilee asked, as she crossed her arms underneath her bust and began leaning back on the counter.
It was obvious right away though, as the man began to slur his words, that he was too drunk to hold much of a conversation, yet alone start one......which made her eyes dart over towards the man beside Lee.
"Well you don't appear to be drunk in the least......." she said with a cautious smile, shifting to her side a bit in an attempt to more clearly read the young man who Lee appeared to be chatting with, before crashing his head into the counter-top behind her.".........so, care to tell me what the two of you were conversing about? And just how my name made it's way into that said conversation?"
Knatilees eyebrows raised slightly, as if to say 'Hmmm?'
She was never one to be overly paranoid, but she also wasn't one who liked friends or acquaintances talking about her to random strangers.......especially when that said acquaintance is drunk out of his mind, with lips looser than a two dollar whore.
