In another house within the new complex of houses, the spirit had given up bothering with finding the demon for the time being and had instead found a new thing to play with. Said new thing was Ethan Cavalier, a small three year old boy in the Cavalier's house. This was a human being that the spirit would talk to; a child was innocent and harmless, and much more entertaining than any older being. The others were only good for torment; this child was good for so much more. "Hey, Ethan.." The spirit whispered quietly to the child. "Did you want to play a game?" He asked, oblivious of the time or anything else going on (except the fact that a demon had usurped his family and he would have to go and reclaim it hopefully before the demon went and did something stupid, like kill one of them).

To the child, the spirit would be about his age, with scraggly blond hair and bright blue eyes. He would always be wearing strange clothing, but it would be clean. When the spirit smiled to the boy, he would have a dimple in his right cheek. No adult would see him. He would not allow that to happen.
