Myran

Myran kept his head down, ears facing the same direction, straight at the bells in front of him. The instrument was always in tune and he knew where ever note was on the metal keyboard type instrument. He rarely did this in the band room but he figured that the others weren’t going to be focused on what he was doing. He figured there was enough noise in the room to drown out his playing. He softly started to play one of his own creations. A light, melodic piece, sounding like a perfect mixture of a few ballads he had learned to play over the years. The notes he played weren’t just notes, they were but they were played with feeling and emotion which apparently got people’s attention. He was one of the last few to stop playing and listen for the announcements. He ended abruptly and put the mallets away and went into the percussion room.
