"Oh, how rude of me!" The spirit said, effectively face-palming at the question of who he was. The spirit smiled pleasantly then, dropping his hand. "My name's Patrick Williams. You can call me Pat, though, if you want." The spirit took a deep breath, and glanced around once more, though the action was quite meaningless. "Now, for this game, we'll need to sneak outside. Can you do that, Ethan? If you can't get outside with out your mother knowing, we can't play the game. And you do want to play the game with me, don't you, Ethan?" The spirit, Pat's, tone of voice took on an almost warning tone, though it was unconscious. There was no point in using tones on most children, since often it went right over their heads. But sometimes, just sometimes, they caught on that something was wrong, and Pat did not want that.
