Quite frankly, if Nero thought he was dealing with an honest wolf, he would have seriously considered sacrificing Sedi. Even if she was a good companion, he still hardly knew anything about her, and if he had the choice of saving her life or all of his other friends, he would probably just have to live with the guilt of sacrificing her for the rest of his life. But since Nero knew this wolf was probably the very antonym of integrity, there really was no use in making such a hurtful decision in Sedi's presence.
