Wondering how much of all this Rashid was making up, Nero decided even if it was half true, he life was about to become awful. How did Rashid know so much if he had never tried it? That little fact gave Nero comfort, perhaps Rashid was just trying to scare him. But how had this Zalika read his thoughts? He hadn't known idea that they had that kind of power, he thought that that kind of power was reserved to the Alva. Was Nero that easy to read? The thought of it all angered him, and in one final act of free willed spite, Nero wrenched his paw free of one his captors and claws Rashid in his face, aiming for his shiny little eyes. Satisfied as he felt claw meet flesh, Nero resisted no more, and closed his eyes, letting the noise of Rashids reaction be a final little reward for him.
