Jung-Hwa was by the pond in the backyard, sitting on the railings of the wooden bridge. His back was arched as he was reading a manga book in his left hand. "So she died of leukemia," he whispered to himself. He just started to read Brody's Ghost and was now on the page where Talia told Brody how she died. Straightening his back, he closed the book and turned around to stand on the bridge. He leaned on the railings and looked up at the sky, letting out a deep sigh. He could still remember the day he died as if it just happened a second ago.
*Flashback*
Jung-Hwa woke up to a loud sound. His eyes fluttered open and his vision was blurred. Thud, thud, thud. "Who's knocking so hard?" He groggily stood up on his two feet and walked towards his apartment door when it just slammed open. A bunch of police men and investigators flowed in the room. Jung-Hwa's hands immediately shot up. "Woah, woah, woah! I swear I'm innocent!" He wasn't feeling tired at all anymore, but confused. "Umm... Wasn't that rude of you guys to just barge in here unwelcomed? Hello? Annyeong? Ni hao? Hola? Anyone?" Why weren't they listening to him? He didn't know. That was, until he found himself lying on the floor. A small white bottle was lying on its side, a few red, tiny pills spilling out of it. "No..." He turned around, wanting some of his questions to be answered. A police man walked towards him and when Jung-Hwa stopped to speak to him, the man just went right through him. Jung-Hwa's hands shook in fear and unwanted thoughts came swimming into his mind. Oh no. Oh no, no, no, NO! Am I... Am I really....... Dead? He didn't want to believe it but he knew that this time, he got what he wanted. And he regretted it.
**Present Time**
Jung-Hwa straightened his clothes before heading back inside. He was wearing dark grey, baggy sweats, black and white nikes, and a black long-sleeved muscle shirt, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Originally, he was just wearing his sweats and was barefoot with no shirt because that was what he had been wearing on the day of his death. But Ms. Moon didn't approve and then poof! He suddenly had a shirt, socks, and a new pair of shoes. He walked back in the house and walked through the wall right into the library. It wasn't really the time for reading since humans were coming to the mansion so he put the book back on the manga section of the library and started walking aimlessly around the hallway, trying to think of a way to kill some time before all the humans arrived. Looking out the window, he saw an unfamiliar face. "Could he be... one of them?" He asked himself. Excited, he rushed around the mansion, hoping to find Izumi- who was like one of his many little dongsaengs to him. After a few minutes or so, he finally made it to the living room where he found the bubbly, pink haired ghost lying lazily on the couch. "Izumi-chan," because Izumi was Japanese, Jung-Hwa decided to call her with a Japanese prefix. He felt that it made him feel a little more at home knowing that he had a little sister of his own that he had left behind. "Do you want to pull a prank on the humans with me? It'll be fun." He gave her a sly grin. Izumi was practically his partner in crime when it came to pulling pranks. He couldn't wait to see the human's reactions once they found out they've been pranked- by a ghost nonetheless.
